For sauce, in a small saucepan combine tomato sauce, 1/4 cup water, brown sugar, lemon juice, Worcestershire, onion and red pepper flakes. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring once or twice. Remove from heat.
Preheat grill to medium indirect heat (300°F to 350°F). Cut ribs into 8 serving-size pieces; sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Grill ribs bone side down, covered, 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours or until tender, brushing occasionally with sauce during the last 30 minutes of grilling.
Reheat any remaining sauce and serve with ribs.
