Jason has fond memories of eating these beans on hunting trips when he was young. Jason still uses the same Dutch oven that his father used to cook the beans on their trips.

Directions

Place a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add sausage; cook, stirring, until sausage is browned; drain fat. Remove sausage and set aside.

Add ground beef and onion to Dutch oven; cook, stirring, until meat is browned. Drain fat. Stir in sausage, pinto beans, baked beans, barbecue sauce, sugar, mustard, Worcestershire, jalapeo, chili powder and cumin. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
