Preheat oven as directed on quick-bread package. Coat the bottom of an 8x4-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
In a medium bowl combine bread mix, flax and apricots; mix well. Add eggs, oil, and water according to package directions. Stir until moistened. Fold in nuts (if desired). Pour evenly into loaf pan.
Place pan in oven, and bake according to package directions. Remove from oven, and let cool as directed.
