Thread cherries onto 8 toothpicks, or fill each of 8 tall glasses with ½ cup cherries.

Combine ginger ale and pomegranate-cherry juice in a large pitcher, stirring well. Pour into glasses, add ice and cherry skewers (if using), and serve.
