In a medium saucepan stir together fruit juice and sugar over medium heat. Bring to boiling; boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and let cool.
In a blender combine cooled berries and 1/4 cup of the cooled juice mixture; blend to a smooth purée.
Combine pured berries, remaining 3/4 cup juice mixture, and lime juice; stir well. Pour mixture into the freezer container of a hand-turned or electric ice-cream maker. Freeze according to manufacturer's directions. Serve with fresh mint, if desired.
